My hope for 2026 is that we can come to the understanding and agreement that we are all like-minded people in the world living for the same thing — peace, love, and acceptance.
To all performers, organizers, and audience members — I say: hold your light higher. Because when drag is under threat, it isn’t just drag that’s at stake. It’s free speech. It’s community. It’s the freedom of people to show up as full versions of themselves.
At the end of the day, the drag comes off, and we go back to being human, with feelings and struggles like everyone else.

Drag not only helps us feel more confident but also helps many other cisgender men and women who support our community. I love drag because I get to touch the hearts of others, in many different situations, which makes me feel I am living with a purpose!
