The 33rd Annual Texas Home & Garden Show, presented by Mattress Firm, returns to NRG Center February 8 through 10, just in time to get all your spring projects ready.

From windows and doors to roofs and floors, this show covers more than 100,000 square feet, with more than a thousand products and services on hand including experts and ideas — all for your convenience. Build a home from scratch or renovate the space you already have!

Show highlights include a Charity Plant Sale that helps you spruce up your garden while help an amazing cause! All proceeds will go to the Houston Habitat for Humanity foundation helping to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Additionally, multiple companies are ready to show you how to make a mirage a reality by transforming your backyard into a summer oasis. Add palm trees and lush plants with help from Big Tex Trees, Moon Valley Nurseries and Baty Palm Trees. 

Looking for a new deck or stone patio? Turf Plus, Premier Pools and Spas and Hidden Cove Outdoors have the experience and know-how to make it happen. Pools, spas, decks, outdoor kitchens, furniture and greenery are just the beginning.

The most important place in your home is your bedroom for rest and relaxation. It’s your haven and retreat from the stress of a busy day. The show’s Rest & Relax by Mattress Firm feature offers luxurious home therapy solutions including hot tubs and massage chairs to improve your health.

This year’s show will once again help you plan your next getaway or adventure with an entire section devoted to vacation, leisure, and outdoor companies and destinations. Learn everything to help plan your next trip to Big Bend, Coushatta Casino, Northeast Texas and other locations. Also, be sure to see the latest rental options from Freedom boat club, which will have a boat in their booth for you to check out.

Free “make-and-take†projects enable you to create your very own succulent terrarium or learn to start a tomato garden. This hands-on, interactive workshop is hosted by Janice Brown of On the Grow! And Adeina Anderson of Crafting with Adeina, will also be on hand to show how to add a hint of personal style to your spring crafting projects. These are great projects for adults and kids alike.

Finally, the Texas Home & Garden Show’s free KidsZone lets little ones work out all their energy at our, with plenty of inflatable fun.

The show will be held in NRG Center, One Reliant Park (77054). Hours are Friday, February 8, 2 ’til 6 p.m.; Saturday, February 9, 10 a.m. ’til 6 p.m. and Sunday, February 10, 11 a.m. ’til 5 p.m.

General admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and military members. Children age 14 and under are admitted free.
