Travis Stevens is a typical Texas guy. He enjoys all things outdoors, especially kayaking and hiking. During his free time, Travis can usually be found at the gym (he loves keeping his body tone) or eating. His favorite meal is steak and eggs, of course.
The only thing that makes Travis a little different from the typical Texan is Travis is world-famous. He’s an award-winning film star, best known for his roles in Ride: Sin City and Helix Academy Wrestling.
“I grew up on a farm about 45 minutes away from Austin,†Travis explains. “Being that far away from everyone, it was just school and home during the week and farm work on the weekends. I wanted to spice things up a bit.â€
He says a break-up allowed him to do something bold. “As with most things in my life, I approached my decision to enter the adult industry as “why not?â€.
Why not get paid handsomely to have sex with gorgeous dudes on camera in fun locations, surrounded by all my friends?â€
He sent an application to Helix Studios via their website and today, is among the most popular stars on their roster. We spoke with Travis Stevens from his Austin home.
Can you tell us about growing up in Austin?
Travis Stevens: I grew up with my dad and stepmom, my two step-siblings, and my little brother. The main struggle my family had was blending the families after my dad married his current wife. All of us kids hated each other for no reason. We’re a tight unit, today, though. We are all pretty involved in each other’s lives, which I love.
Do they know about your film work? Â
Travis Stevens: In the beginning, I lied to everyone except for one of my brothers. I told them I was living in California because I had been hired by Tim Cook to do coding at Apple. Both my parents have gay siblings. When my dad’s gay brother saw what I was doing, he told my family and they were not pleased. I was disowned for four years! But they eventually realized that family get-togethers are too boring without my gay ass to entertain.
You started in film at 19 but then disappeared. Â Where did you go?
Travis Stevens: Growing up, I always had perfect skin but then one year my face decided to turn into a pepperoni pizza and I wasn’t exactly camera ready.
When you returned, you began working with different adult studios. Â
Travis Stevens: I wanted to see what else was out there. I discovered that no other studio offers the family environment that Helix does.
What’s next for you in adult film?  More films or will you go into producing?
Travis Stevens: For now, I’m still gorgeous so I’ll keep filming. Ultimately, I want to end up on the other side of the camera, filming and producing.
What about romantic plans? Â Are you ready for a relationship?
Travis Stevens: I just got a boyfriend! It’s still very new and exciting for me and he’s cool with what I do so we shall see what the future holds.
Would you date a fan?
Travis Stevens: The last two guys I dated were aware of my film work before we met so, kind of?
Worst pick-up line someone has said to you?
Travis Stevens: “Hi, does this rag smell like chloroform to you?†As the guy puts the gross rag in my face.
What makes Travis Stevens smile?
Travis Stevens: Tell me that I’m pretty or that you think I’m smart, I’ll melt.
What makes you crazy?
Travis Stevens: Bad drivers. Nothing makes me feel the rage of a thousand suns like someone driving five-under in the left lane.
What was the most obnoxious thing you did this week?
Travis Stevens: I bought a megaphone so I can yell at people when they run yield signs in front of me. Someone needs to tell these people, might as well be me.
What is your prized possession?
Travis Stevens: Probably my phone.
If you could convince any male celeb to join the Helix roster, who would it be?
Travis Stevens: Tom Holland because he’s a dream, or Ryan Reynolds from Blade Trinity when his body was insane.
Kiss, marry, kill any current or past Helix star.
Travis Stevens: I would kiss Tyler Hill again because, omg, he’s just perfect. I’d marry Max Carter because he makes me sandwiches any time I ask. I’d kill all the models who decided to depart the Helix family making shitty allegations and trying to ruin the good thing we have going here.
Any plans to come to Houston?
Travis Stevens: Actually, yes! I haven’t been in a while and I want to check out the bar scene so look out for me!
Final message to fans.
Travis Stevens: Remember to call your mothers, they miss you, and remember the Alamo.
