Happy Weedsday, everyone!

Many people use cannabidiol oil (CBD) to treat symptoms of pain, arthritis, nausea, sleep disorders and anxiety. It treats many of the same symptoms in canines and felines as in the human population because these animals, too, have an endocannabinoid system.

It can temporarily stop anandamide, which is a chemical that sends pain signals to the brain. It’s a communication system, if you will. The increase of anandamide can reduce the pain.

CBD is also excellent for inflammation. By reducing inflammation, CBD can and does reduce pain.

One of the most widely known uses for CBD is for relief from seizures and spasms because CBD is a anticonvulsant.

But CBD doesn’t deal with physical symptoms, alone. CBD can also help our four-legged friends with a wide variety of mental health issues, with anxiety and stress being the most common. Some of the more common symptoms are barking, chewing and aggression. CBD can reduce stress, thus reducing the symptoms. CBD can help boost serotonin levels, and that can cause improvements in mood and demeanor by helping to calm anxiety and depression.

Nausea and vomiting (upset stomach) can also be treated with CBD. Both symptoms can lead to loss of appetite, weight loss and tiredness. There are a lot of medications on the market for these symptoms, and most come with side effects. These include sleepiness, drooling, loss of appetite, diarrhea and, in some cases, death.

There are no known deaths associated with cannabis THC or CBD.

CBD can be helpful for animals that have for cancer. Although there is no known cure for cancer, cannabis research is making great strides in the field. Unfortunately, chemotherapy is the most common treat for cancer, but there are many side effects including lethargy, tiredness, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea and vomiting. CBD helps with the side affects and slows the growth of tumors. CBD can also reduce the size of the tumor and reduce pain.

CBD also assists with homeostasis, which regulates the functioning of the body. When the body is balanced, all systems can function to the best of their ability. When the body is out of balance, disease and illnesses can occur. CBD is excellent for maintaining balance and harmony with the body. Therefore, using CBD as a supplement to your dog’s regular diet.

CBD can be very beneficial to your dogs’ health, happiness and well-being. I encourage everyone to take a look at what CBD can do to improve your and your furry friends lives!

I would like to give a huge thank you to my friend Michael Green. He contributed to the content of this article as he is an animal rights and cannabis activist! Thank you.
