My name is Blair Fullerton
My name is Blair Fullerton, I work for a large engineering company in Houston. My husband Michael and I moved to Houston for work in mid-2006, and shortly after getting settled we found our way to the BRB, where we met the people that would become our chosen family. In 2009 I joined the Court, ERSICSS, and they have become a second family. What ERSICSS does to support this community is what drew me to get involved with fundraising.
Over the years I have worked with multiple local organizations to help them raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Houston LGBTQ+ community. I’ve had the privilege of personally getting to know several of the key players in the Houston LGBTQ community. And to hear what they’ve been through is humbling, to say the least. I will never know the struggles they went through, but their dedication to the people of this community is what drives and energizes me to stay involved. I joined ERSICSS to help others, and that is why I’m here, I will never forget why we do what we do. It’s for this community, and not personal gain.
So, exactly what is ERSICSS? The Empire of the Royal and Sovereign Court of the Single Star (ERSICSS), is a 501c3 charitable organization that’s been raising money for the Houston LGBTQ+ community for over the last 39 years. Each year the community elects an Empress and Emperor, essentially co-presidents for ERSICSS, who choose the charities for the year and build the teams necessary to raise money for those charities.
We are in the middle of the candidacy season for Reign 39. And after a lot of thought and soul searching, on November 25th, 2023, I threw my hat into the ring for Emperor 39 of ERSICSS.
I believe my 13 years of experience, more than double that of my competition, coupled with my commitment to this community, ERSICSS, and its core values makes me a good choice for Emperor.
Voting is in person and if you live in the Houston area and have a 77xxx ZIP Code and are 21 and over, you’re eligible to vote in this election.

January 6th from 12-6 PM at Barcode, 817 Fairview.
