From Underdog to community pillar, the inspiring journey of Oscar Servin

In the wake of Colorado’s legalization of cannabis, Oscar Servin embarked on a bold venture, leaving behind college and a conventional job to pursue his passion. His journey took him through the trenches of the cannabis industry, where he juggled multiple jobs while absorbing every nuance of the trade. 

The turning point came in 2018 with the passage of the new farm bill, which opened doors for businesses to venture into hemp products. However, it wasn’t until 2019 that Oscar Servin returned, propelled by the opportunities presented by the new legislation. Armed with a mission to educate and advocate for the benefits of hemp, he traversed Texas, from Dallas to Austin, San Antonio to Corpus Christi. Setting up tables and tents at various events, Oscar engaged with residents, patiently explaining the potential of cannabis in a state where it was still a novel concept. This grassroots effort laid the groundwork for what was to come. 

In 2020, Oscar’s vision took tangible form as he unveiled Houston’s first mobile dispensary under the banner of Little Pot. The culmination of meticulous planning and persistent support, the mobile dispensary marked a significant milestone in Oscar’s journey. Bringing his expertise directly to the people, he became a pioneer in the local cannabis scene, introducing Houstonians to a world of CBD products and smokeables like never before. 

In September 2022, Oscar’s dream materialized into a brick-and-mortar reality as Little Pot found its permanent home in Montrose, Houston. The grand opening was a testament to the unwavering support of those who believed in Oscar’s vision from the start. What began as a mobile dispensary blossomed into a cherished community establishment, fostering a sense of belonging among patrons. 

Despite facing stiff competition from larger dispensaries and smoke shops, Little Pot remains 

steadfast as the underdog. What sets them apart is not just their extensive product range, but the 

unparalleled customer service and welcoming atmosphere. Oscar’s commitment to ensuring every visitor finds the right product and feels accepted has cultivated a loyal following, making Little Pot synonymous with quality and care in the Montrose community. 

But Oscar’s ambitions extend beyond Montrose. With dreams of expansion and creating similar communities elsewhere, he remains driven by the desire to share his passion and expertise with a broader audience. Little Pot may have started as an underdog, but under Oscar’s leadership, it has evolved into a beacon of inclusivity and excellence in the cannabis industry. 

As Little Pot continues to grow, Oscar Servin’s journey serves as a testament to the power of 

perseverance, passion, and the relentless pursuit of one’s dreams.
