A.D. Players at The George and Artists Lounge Live are pleased to work together again after the success of A Bing Crosby Christmas and present to Houston audiences, Get Happy: Angela Ingersoll Sings Judy Garland.

A star is born as Emmy-nominee Angela Ingersoll celebrates American icon Judy Garland, as seen on PBS. Ingersoll won acclaim for her stunning portrayal of Garland in the play, End of the Rainbow (Chicago, Los Angeles). Live in concert, she shines as a force all her own. She is “the heiress apparent to the Garland legacy,†according to Splash Magazine, and superbly captures Garland’s emotional and vocal power, and crafts passionate stories with a naturally winning humor. Chicago Sun-Times exclaims, “Phenomenal. Judy Garland has been reborn.†Los Angeles Times declares, “with her incandescent star power… Ingersoll was born to play Garland.â€

With an exceptional six-piece band, Ingersoll soars on songs including “Over the Rainbowâ€, “Come Rain Or Come Shine†and “The Man That Got Awayâ€.
