Anunnaki Ray Marquez, a gender/intersex activist, writer and speaker will keynote PFLAG Houston’s Public Meeting scheduled January 13, 2019. Marquez will be presenting an enlightening discussion titled “I am the One Turning Everything Rainbow,†sharing how parents can support their intersex children.
The meeting runs 2 ’til 4:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 5501 Main St. Parking is available between Fannin and San Jacinto. The party will be in the Jones Building, immediately after our confidential small groups.
As we begin another exciting year, we invite all to join us in our three-fold mission of supporting families, educating communities concerning LGBTQ issues, and advocating for inclusive policies in order to end discrimination and promote equality. Some day, we hope that there will be no need for PFLAG. Until then, we look forward to expanding our membership so that our important work can continue.

PFLAG Houston’s Mid-Month Sharing Meeting meets on the third Thursday of each month, beginning at 7 p.m. The meeting is located at Bering United Methodist Church, 1440 Harold Street in Houston. Enter under the teal awning. The meeting is in the first room on the left.
PFLAG Houston’s Clear Lake Sharing Meeting meets the fourth Sunday of each month at 2 p.m. at Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Church in the fellowship hall. The church is located at 17503 El Camino Real Drive in Clear Lake.
PFLAG Houston’s Katy Sharing Meeting meets the fourth Tuesday of each month, 7 ’til 8 p.m. at First Christian Church, located at 22101 Morton Ranch Road. Please enter the main building through the front doors and follow the signs. PFLAG Houston is excited to bring support, education and advocacy to the west side.
PFLAG Pearland’s Sharing Meeting meets last Sunday of each month, 2:00 ‘til 3:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Pearland, 2314 North Grand Boulevard, Room B211 (upstairs in the Bethel Building). Use the Jasmine St. entrance and follow the signs.
